Older Philips 37PF7320A/37, display shifted left (home & viewing both, approximatly 5-10%

Jump to solution

On the specified Philips TV, with a 'Streaming stick 4K', the display is ALWAYS shifted left for approx. 5-10%, both the home screen and ANY chosen selection of streams. This was true on a previous Roku device as well.

The user manual for your TV is located here https://www.philips.ca/c-p/37PF7320A_37/-/support.  Scroll down to 'Manuals and documentation' for the downloads.

On page 40 of the pdf file (which is page 38 in the manual), you can see in the troubleshooting "Picture Position Adjustment" that certain HDMI signals/inputs may need adjustment to center the image.

Try using the right arrow on the Philips remote (not the Roku remote).  The Philips remote that came with this TV has a circle and arrow buttons.

Can see some images of remote in this link https://www.usa.philips.com/c-p/37PF7320A_37/7000-series-94-cm-37-inch-lcd-digital-cable-ready as well as in the user guide.

Here is an older posting in the AVSforum with a user issue with similar problem on a Philips as well and explained adjustment was made using the remote.  https://www.avsforum.com/threads/screen-not-centered-on-my-philips.663585/
