New Roku TV won't stop turning on and off.

Exactly what the title says, got a new Roku TV, turned it on, connected to the wifi, then it turned off. When I turned it back on it got stuck in a loop of turning itself on and off. The bar underneath flashes red when it turns on.

Re: New R9 won't stop turning on and off.

Hello @Hunterofyeets

Welcome to the Roku Community.

We're here to help. Could you tell us more specific details about the issue occurring?

What Roku model device do you have? Could you tell us how are you powering your Roku device? Is it connected to the USB port of the TV or to a wall outlet? Check if the video cable is firmly connected to the back of your Roku player and to the HDMI on the TV.

Keep us posted on what you find out.

@Hunterofyeets

Thanks for the response.

Could you send us a screenshot of the display on your TV? And send us the serial number of the device for us to look into this closer. The placement of the serial number or device ID varies by manufacturer, but you can often find this information on the back of your Roku TV, or if you have a Roku device its serial number is printed on the bottom or back of the product.

Keep us posted.

Nimfa
