Need help setting up new Roku

New Roku detects a signal but says its weak, hooks up anyway.  Says it's going to download the latest updates,  says it will start after this update but just keeps making me start all over again with choosing a language.   One big hopeless circle.

Most often culprit is an underpowered device.  If you are currently using the TV USB power port, try plugging the Roku device into a wall outlet and see if that helps. (most cell phone USB chargers 5volt, 1amp will work).
