I am having this same issue. It is very strange. I have even tried just downloading the Roku app remote to my phone and the TV is still doing the same thing.

Could you elaborate on the steps you have taken to reproduce the issue? When did you start having the issue? What is the running OS build version of your affected device? You can check it through Settings > System > About.
