Is ROKU 3 Compatible with new remote

Is the new remote compatible with ROKU 3? I still use on an older TV.  I have purchased the Ultra but I have not used it as yet.

Any one of the current Roku remotes (except the remote specifically for Roku TVs) is compatible with a Roku 3.
