I’m getting Error 14.40 on incorrect password

I’m getting this error after getting a new internet box from Xfinity as my old one was old (2017) and they were bugging me to get updated equipment. My phone logs in on new internet box so do my computers. My other devices log in and are working yet Roku is telling me I have a wrong password when I do not! Ready to throw the thing in the garbage my Roku box is old-ish too (2019) but I have older other devices that are connecting so this is really making me angry. I’m hoping there is a fix vs just buying a new one because I’m inclined not to do that on principle. I should NOT have gotten the new Xfinity box but I can’t undo that. I hope someone can help me out, please?

@Monica-Jacobson

Try changing the password under both the 2.4ghz and 5ghz settings on your new router and remove any special characters from it. (just use numbers and letters, no symbols.).

Then restart both your router and your Roku device and see if you can connect successfully.
