How can I disconnect my smartphone from Roku?

I was watching the YouTube channel last night through my Roku streaming device, projected to my Samsung Smart TV.

My Samsung smartphone asked me if I wanted to connect - or was it sync - to my Roku streaming device, and I made the mistake of answering "Yes". After that, whatever programming I selected via my Roku streaming device onto my Smart TV also displayed on my Samsung phone. The only way I could use the normal functions of my phone was to shut off my Smart TV.

How can I undo the sync between my Roku streaming device and my Samsung smartphone?
