Re: Hotspot not connecting with new phone

We're glad you're here, @Pam63!

If you need more help, it is best to contact your internet service provider for troubleshooting.

In the meantime, try restarting your phone and see if that changes anything.

We hope this gets fixed soon!

Re: Hotspot not connecting with new phone

@Pam63Are you able to connect to WiFi in general and if not, has SSID, password or login changed? You'll have to forgive me but I'm only familiar with modem/router configs and have no experience with hot spots..But in general the most prevalent issue with WiFi connectivity is channel congestion which in lay terms, means there are many people nearby using the same channel your router has selected. How you can learn if this is the case is by installing WiFi Analyzer for Android or something similar for iPhone. Then open the app and take note of how many others are using the same channel, find a way to log into the hotspot and change the channel to one less congested. Again, I have no Hot Spot expertise so I'm not sure how it works
