I have a Roku tv. A few days ago, my Home Screen updated to include a continue watching line that I could scroll through for quick access to anything I was watching on any app, on any device in my home. Today it disappeared, and I can’t find how to put it back.
Roku is testing some changes to the Roku home page with some "lucky" random users. The Continue Watching bar is one of them. This is the first incidence I've seen reported of it being withdrawn.
Many people did NOT like this feature, both because they didn't want their past viewed shows made public, and because it added extra steps to choosing channels. There were many requests to make the Continue Watching bar optional. You might want to see if they have added it as an option under your Settings > Home screen menu.
Other changes being tested are:
• Channel grid - 4 smaller tiles wide instead of 3 "normal" tiles wide
• On Roku TVs, tiles for individual input sources gathered under one single Inputs tile.
I urge anyone receiving these tests to feed back their opinions, positive, negative, or with suggestions for improvement, to Roku. About the only way to do this is by posting here in the Community.Continue Watching bar
