Hands Free Voice stopped working

Hi,

I have a voice remote pro.  The hands free function just stopped working.  I have the side switch correctly on the "hands free on" position.  I've tried re-paring the remote.  I even bought a second voice remote pro.  The hands free doesn't work for either remotes.  Voice commands only work if I push the mic button.  Thinking it might be the device and not the remote, I tried it on a roku in another room and that didn't work then either. Can someone please help?  The funny thing was, it was working fine in the morning but come evening, it stopped working.

Here are my specs:

Roku Streaming Stick+ 3810RW, SW version 14.0

Voice Remote Pro, Model RC1072, FW version rtn.4284, Voice Capture FW en_US 0037

Re: Hands Free Voice stopped working

I noticed something similar on my device, possibly linked to a bug with the screensavers.  Try disabling the screen saver and see if that helps.  It fixed my issue with voice commands.

Re: Hands Free Voice stopped working

Thanks for the reply!  I was able to get it working by forgetting my remote and adding it using the "add remote" option under remote and devices.  That fixed it.  Of note, I also did press and hold the home and left arrow button for 20 secs before re-paring.  Not sure if that reboots the remote itself or not, since just re-paring the remote didn't seem to work.
