My Express 4K+ stops pairing with the TV every 2 to 3 days. I have to go through the process of unplug, remove batteries, power up, and then re-pair the remote. It’s a pain. What gives?

I bought this last Christmas. Worked OK for a couple months then the problems started. I’ve replace batteries a few times and also switched from USB power to the wall wart. Just did another re-pairing. This time it lasted for 3 days which is typical. Wife is ready to throw in the garbage. Is there warranty?
