Express 4K will not connect to wifi getting error 014.30 error after update

I have a Roku 4K express that has been working fine for a couple of years. Two days ago there was a firmware update, after which it refuses to connect to any wifi network and gives the 014.30 error.

I restarted everything and tried other network options I have, but to no avail, so I did a factory reset. I was then able to connect to the router without a problem, however, it immediately did a software update and after installing the new firmware, it will not connect to the router that it just connected to to download the update.

Please do not tell me there is a problem with my wifi setup as the roku connects without a problem before downloading the update.

This is very frustrating and was clearly created by the firmware update.

We understand that you're having issues with the Roku Express 4K and want to work with our team to resolve the issue.

Share with us the following:

  • Roku model, serial number, and device ID (this can all be found in Settings System About)
  • Tracker ID and OS version, and build (press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
  • If possible, send us a video clip showing the issue
    Save your video to Google Drive, then copy and paste it into your post.
