Crackle keeps automatically loading

Jump to solution

I’ve seen this posted, but never a resolution.   I went to my parents to try to log into Netflix.   It took 15 minutes because often pressing right, it automatically loaded Crackle.   I then entered the login info without the right arrow and it still loaded crackle.  I removed Crackle and it took me to the channel to install.   It sometimes was pressing keys, sometimes in between pressing anything.    My dad told me it does it all the time and can’t even use the Roku remote because of it.   I see “what’s your version” or “serial number “ etc….. it’s the latest version.    I just want to know the fix…. Replace the remote?  Slam it on the floor a few times?   Reset something?   What is is?!?!?

It's almost certainly the remote.  You can try using the Roku app on your phone as a remote to see if it still happens.

Does the remote have a direct access key for Crackle?  If so, make sure it's not stuck.
