Cannot connect to the WiFi and I don’t have a remote but I do have the app

So I dont my roku remote but I have the Roku app. I have my Roku setup to the tv (I am in a hotel) but I cannot connect the Roku to my phone and app because it is not on the same WiFi. Any recommendations on what I can do to try and connect it.

@Baxterconte, the only thing you can do is set up your phone's hotspot to match the last network the Roku device connected to and then use another phone also connected to the hotspot to act as the remote.  If you can't do that, you have to get a remote.
