This is exactly what is happening with our newer remote! So very frustrating and expensive to have to put in new batteries every 3-4 weeks. We have the Streaming Stick 4K with voice control
3~4 weeks? We have had our Roku less than a month and the 3rd set of batteries just got replaced (Duracell).
ROKU - fix the remotes, in the long run (~6 months) it will be cheaper for me to buy a different streaming device.
