I was experiencing huge volume issues with the microphone remote the first day I installed the Roku. . I did suddenly locate the actual volume up, down and mute. The buttons are on the side of the remote. The buttons are so subtly hidden you would never know they were there.

The standard company solution is not at all helpful and doesn't address the inconsistency of the problem.  Sometimes it happens randomly (though infrequently) in the middle of a show.  It happens on all channels.  It ALSO happens with private listening through the app so it can't possibly be the tv or sound system, etc.  Sometimes just pausing or rewinding a little bit fixes the problem.  Sometimes exiting the channel to the roku home screen and going back in is required.  C'mon guys!  How bout some real tech support on this one?!

Your solution is not helpful. How about some actual customer service? Why no solution that actually help? You're Useless and Stupid. Stop just reading from a script and provided actual help.

I have done all of this and my volume continues to go out. I have nothing else connected to my TV so it can not be an added device. There is a malfunction with the Roku TV. I purchased this tv about 4 months ago. I have never had a problem with a tv in such a short span of time. I hope you are working on an update or I will be returning this tv.

Please fix this issue, I have 3 Roku TV’s and my living room tv just started having this problem 2 days ago, I can completely max out the volume and it is not as loud as it used to be when I would have the volume set to a fraction of that. @RokuJharra-Q  The steps you provide do not work, this must be a software based issue.

I was able to correct mine by using the Factory Reset of audio and picture settings in the system menu, hope this helps resolve for someone else.

I just replaced my 2020 Roku Ultra with the 2024 version and am having the same audio problems mentioned in this posting with the new Roku Ultra that I didn't have with the 2020 box.  I used to be able to get good sound at the 20-25 level now I need to go to 55 or higher.  Tried all your suggested fixes and none of them worked.

@MW87 Where do you find that? I only see the Factory Reset button, which resets everything, not just sound and picture.

My devices are all Roku TV’s (not sure if this makes a difference). I go to Settings>System>Advanced System Settings>Factory Reset>Reset audio/picture settings, then I have to hit the play/pause button 3x’s and it performs the reset.
