When will the mobile app add the power and volume buttons? It seems unfinished without them. Is it a bug?
Hi @eobrien892,
Thanks for the inquiry!
Please be advised that only the functionalities of the Roku to which it is linked can actually be controlled by the Roku Remote app. When paired with a Roku streaming player, the Roku remote software only offers buttons for Roku features. There are no buttons for TV features that the Roku cannot manage. (If you use a physical Voice Remote, the buttons for power, volume, and mute operate the TV without going via the Roku.) As they are a feature of the Roku TV, the app features buttons for TV volume, power, and mute when it is connected to one.
If there's anything else that we can do to assist you, please keep us posted.
Best regards,
John
