12.5.5 breaks HomeKit & Airplay

Jump to solution

Have 4 Roku Ultras that updated to 12.5.5 today and now HomeKit and AirPlay does not work.  HomeKit shows unresponsive and devices do not show in screen mirroring device list. Have tried rebooting and nothing is working. All devices are wired on Ethernet.

In case this helps anyone I finally isolated down the issue with 12.5.5 and my Rokus. It appears something in this release breaks when on a network with IPV6 enabled. I turned off IPV6 on my router and the issues were resolved.
