Parental control

I need more parental control on our Roku. I’m new to Roku and not happy that my kids can search screensavers and see porn. WTH. Was not expecting that on our family TV  

 

I’d also like to block channels. Direct TV allows extensive options for parental controls. 

I know others have asked for these features. I may need to throw away our Roku and switch to a more family friendly format.

Not a single reply from Roku? My son searched for teenage mutant ninja turtles (typed in “teenage”) and sees pornography. You guys are the worst. I’ve bought Rokus for family members and multiple for us, and the total disregard for this is unreal. You have controls on your own store…some achievement….control the search tool. We’re done with Roku. We were one of the first cable cutters and (mistakenly) encouraged friends to use roku. We’re going to be buying an appletv that is more expensive but at least has actual parental controls.
