I use a Roku Express and the Mobile App. I am hard of hearing. It would be nice to be able to listen through my bluetooth headphones (at a louder volume) while my wife listens through the regular TV audio. I wouldn't think it would be hard to have both active at the same time. Currently, it is only one or the other.
