Incremental zoom feature request

Is there a way to add a incremental zoom feature to Roku zoom menu? For example my U-verse cable box allows for three steps of zoom, each one incrementally crops more of the content. This is a nice feature when watching 21/9 aspect ratio movies as you can minimize the black bars without too much crop. When steaming the Roku menu only allows a full screen zoom which overly crops image, it would be nice to have the incremental step zoom option so you could choose the amount of zoom manually.
