I have 4 versions of Rokus, all of them are doing this exact same thing, only a handfull of videos play on YouTube. Started 3/8/2021. Any updates lately. All the other Channels work fine. Netflix, YouTubeTV, Prime, Etc all have zero issues.
Just YouTube is messing up.....
Any Ideas what to do? Help!
This appears to be a YouTube and/or Roku problem. None of the solutions have done anything for me, Reinstalling, rebooting, Google Acct settings, nothing.
Casting still works, thank God, but I shouldn't have to cast to watch yt on this thing. Hope Roku addresses this soon.
Well, add me to the list. Roku Premiere+, 9.4.0 - Build 4200. It would be bad enough if it were an app many people use, but YT is an app practically everyone uses. This should be a P1 issue to resolve.
Thank you soo much it worked for me
Brilliant! It worked for me too. TY
After going through my google account and going through all the Privacy Checkup suggestions it fixed my problem. One of them was about ads. SO maybe that did it.
Same here. Noticed it this afternoon. The fixes listed so far in this thread (when signed in) didn’t help. Chatted with a tech agent. She said something to the effect that “we haven’t heard anything about this problem since noon (noon in Delhi?). I told her that just because she hadn’t heard about it lately doesn’t mean it’s fixed. So, Roku knows about the problem. I just can’t figure out why Roku can’t put a trouble advisory on their website or app so we can see that they know about and are working on a problem.

If I worked in a competent call center and my supervisor heard me say that, I'd be fired on the spot.
This is not a Roku problem, it is a Google/YouTube problem. Roku is no more responsible for this than your internet provider or your television manufacturer is.

This is Google's issue to address - they code the app and process the authentication to it.
