Hi,
Roku has a black screen, just shows hdmi 2 at top and Player 1 (ROKU). do not have smart TV.
Have tried plugging off and on.
Ensure which HDMI port your Roku is connected to, and that the TV is turned to that HDMI input. Double check, just to be sure.
Try a different HDMI port.
Try a different HDMI cable. That's assuming it's not a Stick. You didn't say which Roku it is, so anything we're doing is a guessing game, such as the HDMI cable suggestion.
Ensure you are getting power to the Roku. Ensure you are using the included power supply (again, this could depend on the Roku model).
Try a different TV.

Good News, I borrowed a cable and it works. Any reason why that happens ?
