"Google play no longer supported" pop up screen interrupting Netflix

Movies on Roku stop playing and go back to this message every 5 minutes or so. I have uninstalled the Play app with no luck. What else to check please?

1)  Check that your remote doesnt have a "Google Play" shortcut button, and that it isnt depressed.

2) There are also reports that if your remote has a YouTube or YouTube TV button, that this may be the source as well, so verify it isnt depressed.

3) Restart your Roku:  Settings/System/System restart/Restart
