Re: power issue

You roku isn't getting enough power from your power block. Use a genuine power block. https://www.roku.com/products/accessories/streaming-stick

Re: power issue

I've tested with a good USB adapter that has no issue with other devices ( Roku express in my daughters room)

Re: power issue

But is the output voltage enough for this model of Roku? They are all different. It isn't. You need a genuine Roku power adapter for that model.

Re: power issue

You're telling me the premiere and the express Roku s have different power adapters. So why does it suggest to try A different usb power adapter to start with then?  What are you telling me needs done.  There are a whole lot of people that run into this issue.  It is still under a year old and should be under warranty.  What are you suggesting.

The USB specs ALL call for 5 volt output.  It is the current supply (i.e. measured in amps) that varies.

Re: power issue

Actually , from the link you provided in the post. The units I own 3920x and 3930x both use the exact same power adapter. You can see it on the link you posted.  You really should pay better attention when your answering things on a blog for everyone to see your incompetent.

Actually, what's happening is you gave incorrect info on the thread you joined. Then you insulted someone who was trying to help. I'm not actually weighing in to help, just to point out your behavior so that other users that may be able to assist knows up front what kind of ungrateful person you are.
