1 month old. 9.4.0 build 4210-46 (latest) sometimes get gray/white/snowy screen - have to unplug and replug power to get it back. Most often happens around youtube app, but others as well. How fix?
Vizio V436-G1 4K HDR (HDCP 2.2), RJ45 from router from 200MBs comcast coax.
Thanks for the post.
Have you tried plugging your Roku device into another HDMI port on your TV as well as switching out the HDMI cable to see if that resolves the issue you are seeing?
Please keep us posted what you find out and we can assist you further from there.
Thanks,
Danny
Thanks for your time.
Bad HDMI cable or connection wouldn't cause the Roku unit to become totally unresponsive until unplugged and re-plugged.
The HDMI cables are Monster brand("high speed 21.0Gbps, HDR, 4KHDR, gold plated"). I have 2 of them, one going to Roku and one going to 4K Samsung blueray. I just now swapped them so we'll see.
As time goes on I am beginning to think this is an occasional youtube artifact. Saw it for just a second the other day, but not recently.
it's sorta like often when I connect to Pluto I'll get a rash of HDMI 2.2 or whatever errors (white print on black background screen that then goes away and maybe repeats unless I change Pluto channel). Just occasional bad sig from Pluto?
