Started having the problem of needing to reboot every evening. Power is direct to wall outlet, no micro SD card. Problem just started out of nowhere. Same verizon Fios router and internet service. No other problems in the house. Roku does stay on for many hours a day, but never a problem until now.
What is the issue you are having prompting the need for a reboot?

The system hangs when trying to stream a movie on either Prime, or Netflix.
Since it is affecting both these channels/apps, could be how the device is handling the video. Generally, it seems that whenever a device has issues with Netflix, it usually has an issue with Prime.
To troubleshoot, try lowering the resolution from within Roku. (Settings/Display Type). If you are using 4k, try lowering to 30mhz. Then try lowering to the HD resolutions (1080 and 720).
Can also try using a different HDMI cable as well as a different HDMI port on the TV. What is the model number of the TV you are connecting to?
It is set to HD resolution now. The TV is an older Vizio. I will try a different HDMI cable. Thanks
