loss of audio every time change channel

I purchased the Roku 9021x Soundbar in December, 2020. I have it running through the HDMI(ARC) and have the optical audio connected. Every time I change the channel while on my Xfinity box, I lose all audio. I have to turn the TV off and back on for the audio to come back on. If I am on streaming through the Roku, I do not lose audio when changing from streaming platforms or shows. This just happens on regular TV. I have not tried it on my blu-ray player yet. Also from time to time after shows have been running and it goes from show to show on same channel the sound disappears where I have to turn TV off and on again to get sound back.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
