is Audio able to be played to two different sources?

Is it possible to listen to the audio from the tv and to my phone? My family doesn't like movies as loud as i do and would like this option. Google just announced they are doing this.

Rokus used to have this capability several years ago but it was dropped in a subsequent Roku software release.

Maybe Google's implementation will force Roku to bring this feature back.
