Roku still has not fixed the audio issues when playing movies from a usb device on a roku ultra. So annoying!
If you really need or want to watch shows from usb device currently the only way is to buy app “PlayUSB” from roku App Store. It around $3-5. It takes a little longer to load depending on how much you have but it works.
Can you please provide us the following information:
-Roku device model
-software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found by selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
-steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing
-would you be willing to send us a sample file that you are experiencing this issue with?
