Solving playback issues

Just got a Roku Express. When I first load up the Roku I hear the audio on the Roku start up screen but then using any channel absolutely nothing. I have checked and changed HDMI cable, reset and factory reset numerous times. Tried every HDMI port. Gone into Audio and tried every available option. Powered everything off and on numerous times. Tried updating (None available). Tried factory resetting and changing audio in TV menu itself. I am at a complete loss

First thing I'd try would be a Roku restart.

From the Roku home page: Settings > System > System system restart

If that doesn't fix it, as a temporary work-around, when you start a program with no audio, see if pressing the rewind key on your remote will get you audio on that program.

Reset and tried rewinding no sound sadly.

Try a different HDMI cable, HDMI port on your TV, or a different TV.

Have tried. Also tested the same port and wire with PS4 and Blu Ray player works fine. What confuses me the most is the sound at the splash ROKU screen yet no audio anywhere else. Tested with another TV and works which makes me think a problem with Polaroid TV its just that opening screen that confuses me most. Why there but nowhere else.

What is the model # and firmware version? (Settings/System/About)

And you specifically set Settings/Audio/HDMI=PCM-Stereo AND Settings/Audio/Audio Mode=Stereo  ?

Model No is 3930EU - Roku Express. Software Version 10.0.0 Build 4195-AE. Yes tried Stereo and PCM-Stereo as well as tried every othet option.
