We would like to investigate the issue further. Please share to us the current OS version of the Roku device. Additionally, try the following details below:

Restart the Roku device:

Press Home on your Roku remote

Scroll and select Settings

Select System

Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.

Select System restart

Hi Zoomy and gjcnjc,

We're checking in about your YouTube TV app freezing when fast-forwarding. Are you still having this issue? If so, please manually update your Roku device using the steps below:

Press Home on your Roku remote
Scroll and select Settings
Select System
Select Software update
Select Check Now to manually check for updates

After updating, try again to check the YouTube app and let us know the current software version.

So far, it looks like it's no longer freezing. I was away from home until a week ago, so I wasn't using my Roku, and it hasn't happened since I returned. Looks good so far.

Just FYI, while I was 3000 miles away, on April 16 - 18, I was using a Roku in an Airbnb, and logging on to my own YTTV account. It was freezing just like it did at home, but this was while using someone else's Roku.
