On my Roku stick I keep getting this error Tvapp-00101 I did everything the trouble shot to me to do and still nothing what else can I do. The error message says (This device can only access Xfinity stream on your in-home Xfinity Wi-Fi. Use the app on your smartphone,tablet,or laptop to watch on the go ,any time you like) but the app works on all my other tv’s I need help please 😢
I had the same problem. Couldn't get support from the Xfinity site so don't even bother. Call Xfinity. 888-XFINITY. Eventually, they solved the problem. One thing to know is that they're already aware of the Roku problems. So maybe they can help you faster than the 3 hours and 3 calls I had to waste.
The "(ERROR: TVAPP-00101)" problem is part of an outage in my area. I talked to a few of the XFINITY agents.
They have already received many calls on it, and are aware of that particular error code. They informed me that they with update me on my cellphone and e-mail when the problem is corrected.
All of my ROKU devices are affected by this. My personal opinion is probably the new routers that they handed out to everyone has a bug in it from a recent software update, and won't allow in-home devices to have access. My ROKU is literally within 20 feet of my router.
