Why is my Roku so slow to respond? Lag between button pushes
Your description sounds exactly like what I am experiencing. This started sometime last year and keeps getting worse. I have checked the wi-fi and the connection and both are fine. I never have problems with my other devices. I have to believe that it is a Roku problem they haven't acknowledged or addressed.
