Solving playback issues

My Roku streaming stick keeps zooming in. It's way off focus, showing less than a quarter of the full picture. It happens a few seconds into the first ad of any show I play on Bravo & WEtv only. I see others having this same problem with Hulu (my Hulu is working with no problems).

I have tried the “workarounds” such as changing display type to all three different settings(auto, 1080 &720).. restarting system.. turning captions setting to always on.. nothing works. This is crazy. Any ideas on how to fix?

These things are just little special purpose computers. Like their big brothers sometimes clearing things out by restarting them is all it needs.

Restart via: Settings > System > System restart (Or for Roku TV: Settings > System > Power > System restart).

If a restart doesn't do it, try pulling the power plug to the device for a minute or so then plugging it back in.

I have done these things as well as switching to a different tv in the house.. still nothing changed.. so strange.

I uninstalled the apps and reinstalled them.. I really didn’t want to do this because I was afraid It would be a pain to remember my user/passwords, but when I reinstalled them I was automatically signed back in and now everything is working!
