Solving playback issues

For about a month now the Roku has periodically paused the video playback when streaming, but the audio continues to play.  The video remains as a still image, and does not move until I press the key on the remote to advance the image.  At that point it will resume playing the video, and the video will be in sync with the audio.  This has happened at least a dozen times now.

Is this issue happening on a specific channel or does it happen on every channel that you play content as well?
