This is not related to judder from pans. I often see this slowed choppy strobe stutter with a static camera but movement on screen.
The video "becomes" slow and has a very choppy strobe effect. it then resumes to normal. This occurs very often within the same title.
I am primarily seeing this on SOME Netflix titles and "Book of Boba Fett" yet i am not seeing it on Star Wars 7-9 (only ones tested)
Additionally, I had lip-sync issues and choppy/strobe on all Paramount+ titles until I turned DISABLED HDR Always On. Additionally, I DISABLED Auto-Adjust Display Refresh Rate and maintained the subsampling at 4:2:0. I DISABLED 20 min Power off. Auto detect video display is checked.
Bandwidth is at 92mbps via LAN...
I have an Ultra 4800x on 10.5.0 build 4208-C2 ---> Onyko Tx-RZ50 --> Sony 65A80J OLED (ALL FIRMWARE IS UP TO DATE) (All cables are 2.1 certified) I played with all motion combos on the TV.
I even bypassed the AVR with the same results. The same content originating from the TV's app (Netflix, Paramount+ and Disney+ ) was good.
Any suggestions as to resolve the slow strobe effect would be greatly appreciated.
UPDATE: The issue is definitely the ROKU4800X. I swapped it out with my older ROKU4660X2 and the issue resolved.
i have done everything short of a factory reset. Any ideas on what to do?
