I get a screen pops up infrequently when watching Heartland on Netflix. It looks like a slide and it contains the logos of other streaming channels (PBS, Crackle, ABC, Sky News, etc) I can make it disappear by hitting the back button. Software is up to date. Any ideas? . Samsung TV, about 8 years old. Roku Premiere, about 2 years old.
I suspect it's your smart TV overlaying your content with its own promo stuff.
You can test this by hitting your Home button on your Roku when this happens. If the Roku returns to the Home Screen and the ad overlay continues, that would confirm this.
