Solving playback issues

When I turn on my smart tv with the roku ultra, a small picture shows up (not full screen).  If I turn power off and back on the picture is now full screen.  this only happens on my smart tv.  I have roku devices on other non-smart tv and this never happens.  HELP!

Thanks for the post.

Have you tried switching out the HDMI cable used to connect the Roku device as well as using another HDMI port on the TV to see if you are experiencing the same issue?

i just switched the Roku device to a smart LG and cannot get full screen,   I reversed the HDMI cable and still fails - no other ports give signal.

Thanks for the post.

If the device was originally setup on another TV, it still may have the previous TVs display settings.
