I have a Roku Ultra that I use to listen to my iTunes audio albums on a USB stick. It has been working fine until the v10 upgrade. Now, it will play individual songs but will not automatically advance to the next song in the album. I have to individually advance to the next song when one is finished. Changing settings to shuffle or repeat all makes no difference. Any solution?
Thanks for the post.
Can you please provide more information about the issue you are experiencing? Are you listening to the USB stick through a channel? Which channel?
In addition, can you please provide us the following information:
-Roku device model
-serial number
-device ID
-software OS/version
(these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
With more information we will be able to assist you further.
Thanks,
Danny
I am using a TCL Roku TV. I insert a thumb drive in the USB port. On the thumb drive I have forty music files all about one hour long recorded in .flac. Up until about a month ago the Roku Media Player would play the first file and when the file was finished go to the second file. When the second file was finished it would play the third file and so on. Now, with the same thumb drive and same files it will play the first file, move on to the second file and after a couple of minutes just stop playing. If I restart the file that stopped, it will play through, start the next file and stop again after about two or three minutes into the file. I have changed no settings so I am at a loss to what is happening. Any Ideas?

I am using the Roku Media Player to access and play my Itunes music recorded on my USB. I have tried other USB thumbdrives with the same result.
This has always worked before the latest updates and works on my old Roku. It will not automatically advance from one song to the next. It recognizes and displays all my folders and the contained songs. However, on some albums it will advance as it should starting later in the album. But, most albums and songs have to be advanced manually for each song. Frustrating.
Until they get this straightened out you may want to give My Music a try. Another RMP user with music issues reported that it was a good solution for now.
Thanks for the post.
Can you please provide me with the information that I have requested in my previous post?
Once we have this information we will be able to pass it along to the appropriate Roku team to investigate further.
Thanks,
Danny
