If I disable 1-touch play, won't that mean that pressing buttons on the Roku will no longer cause my TV to switch inputs? I need that function to work. The problem is that the Roku keeps sending signals to switch to it even when its remote isn't being used. What is the fix for that? This sounds like a bug, and one that Roku needs to fix fast!
You have conflicting goals. It may be that turning off the energy-saver setting on the Roku might stop the periodic "hey, I'm here; you there?" signals that cause the TV to switch unexpectedly to the Roku. It might also stop the one-button activation. Can't you use the TV's remote to switch the inputs when needed?
