Stuck on home screen / No signal


Fyi, I am a sat TV engineer 

My stick + decided not to respond to the remote and was stuck on home page. 

1) Replaced batteries. No change

2)tried mobile app. No response.

3)unplugged stick from Samsung  TV. Noticed fairly warm. Cables checked. 

4) re plugged. " No signal check cable, etc. " message on screen. Will not reboot to home screen. Steady White led on stick. 

5) WiFi checked and it is OK. 

Please advise.

It looks like the first thing we need to resolve with your post is getting your device visibly on your TV. Have you tried using another HDMI port on your TV?

For troubleshooting purposes, have you tried connecting the device to another TV to see if you are experiencing the same issue?

Could you tell us specifically about the issue you're running into? If by chance you're getting a 'No signal' message as this thread's title says, we would recommend trying the steps provided by @RokuDanny-R above.

I have the same issue.  Stick + stuck on Home Screen and very warm to touch. Happens at least once a week. I have to remove for 30sec and reinsert to get it to work.  Please advise.
