Stick intermittently shuts off

Had this stick for I think 4 months and all was OK. BUT this week plugged into same wall outlet- shuts down.  20 seconds later back on. During 1 movie last night- 15 times. Doesn't matter if stick is cold or warm from use- has happened after turning on for 30 seconds. Switched wall plug with grandsons unit & cable- no difference. Switched tvs no difference- still resets. As I typed this it's done it twice on a cold stick.l- oops 4- it happens that fast, now 5. Was considering getting an upgrade & (now 😎 & giving this one to my ex. But if this is the (10) way of roku- strongly reconsidering it. Also as a customer service consultant professional i suggest- y'all need to do way better at answering specific concerns of customers. Your canned responses to legit cust concerns and then telling many to reach out privately is p poor service.  YOU have their/our (14) info and should be reaching out to US. I read several pages (16 times) of concerns where it's obvious no one read the concerns, and a glimpse canned response just pisses customers OFF. I'm hoping obviously not to be 1 of them. DAN

We noticed in your post that your Roku streaming stick is intermittently restarting. We are here to look closely into the issue.

To further investigate the issue, please provide the following:

  • Model of your Roku streaming stick
  • When did the issue start?
  • Whether it occurs only during streaming or on the Roku Home screen and Settings as well.
  • If it’s only during streaming, does it happen on all channels or specific ones?
