Static pops on all Roku devices when playing Music from iPad over Airplay 2

Hello, I have a Roku Ultra, a Roku Premiere, and a Roku Premiere+ as well as a TCL 43" Roku TV that are all experiencing the exact same issue. When streaming music content from my iPad via Airplay 2 on any of these devices I get short audible static pops and clicks every 15 seconds or so. They are subtle, but always there. This happens on every song and every device every time. Each of the three Roku players are connected to different speakers and it happens on all of them. It does not happen on my two other Airplay compatible devices, a Denon receiver and a Samsung TV, when using the same iPad and playing the same song, it only happens on my four Roku devices. All devices have been rebooted multiple times and updated to the latest software/firmware. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Does this happen when AirPlaying a specific app? or every app?

Also, does this happen when AirPlaying streaming video content (with audio) as well?

Otherwise, report this to both Apple (since they code/develop the AirPlay receiver app/etc), and to Roku (since they may need to adjust OS code):

This happens when using the Apple Music app to play mp3s. (The same files play fine in iTunes on my PC)

I just tested video with the Disney+ app and on the Roku Premiere and Premiere+ and it would play for a second and then stop, but on the Roku Ultra it played fine with no audible static.

I then tested the Prime Video app on the Roku Premiere+ and it also played fine with no audible static.

So when video actually works it seems to work fine.

I submitted a case with Roku support already and will do so with Apple next. I look forward to them blaming each other in 24 hours. Also, since I'm the last person on earth to still use mp3s nobody will care 😉

As expected, Apple support immediately blamed Roku and closed the case.
Still waiting for Roku support to respond.

Silly and absurd, considering its their app/code - both in the Roku (AirPlay receiver/configuration apps) and in the phone (iOS, AirPlay, Apple Music).

But blameshifting is a longtime industry art, and Apple is well versed in it.

Roku will probably play dumb, requiring 5-10 emails from you in an attempt to explain the problem, if their general support behavior is any predictor.
