Same here. Lost function of Prime Video & Discovery+. With everybody posting how theirs becomes a brick after a factory reset I'm not about to try that! Interesting how this happens a week before Black Friday & their big push to buy the latest & greatest at a "big discount". 🤔🤔
The ONLY app that will launch and properly work for me since the update is Netflix. I’ve tried literally everything. This is a ROKU issue and it needs to be fixed. All these customers having the same issues since the update? Safe to say not user errors…. Roku has got a lot of frustrated customers right now and it needs to be resolved.
HOW CAN I ROLL IT BACK?!
HBO MAX - lets me log in after 5mins, but won't play video
Hulu - times out
Netflix - times out
3 TV's!
Insignia Roku Tv
Samsung Roku TV
Roku Stick
Fix it, or roll back whatever you have done, or buy me a new tvs, and refund a month of each service.
IT WORKED FOR YEARS UNTIL THE 17TH
Netflix and YouTube are the only apps that work for me. No problems until after the new update…so frustrating!
Thanks for the post.
Can you please specify the issue you are experiencing on your Roku devices? Please provide us with the following information:
-Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found be selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
-exact steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing on each of your devices
Once we have this information we will be able to pass it along to the appropriate Roku team to investigate further.
Thanks,
Danny
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the posts.
It seems like there are a lot of posts related to OS 10.5 in this thread, but not necessarily the same issue which is causing great confusion not only to customers, but is making it harder for us to assist each of you with the issue you are specifically experiencing.
Please provide us the following information:
-Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found be selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
-exact steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing
Once we have this information, we will be able to assist you properly.
Thanks,
Danny
Is anything fixed yet or did you figure out how to get this annoying pop up to leave my screen so I can finally stream Netflix again, i’ve waited a week and still nothing
No I don't need to give you 3 serials from 3 tv's, 3 model #s. Its updateOS 10.5 that's the problem not 3 different tv's
I click HBO it spins for 5mins I get in nothing loads or plays
Hulu times out
Everything times out
Netflix works same as everyone else
If I check internet connection it works. Fix the **bleep** I'm not typing those bull**bleep** serial and model numbers because that's not the issue ROLL BACK THE UPDATE you fucjibf idiots
I feel the same way! whatever school kid they hired to make the new update 10.5 and any employee associated with it needs to be fired immediately!!!
I mean, it's thread after thread accross multiple types of roku devices with only one common factor: this 10.5 build update and roku community reps keep asking for items so many people have provided..
