Hi Everyone -
I changed my HDMI cables, because my daughter broke one. I now have no S/PDIF menu in my audio menu?
I remember having to change that audio setting (see my last post) to enable sound in my wireless headphones as well as using ARC for my sound bar?
Headphones work in Passthrough - but turn off in Netflix etc.
Right now all I have in the audio menu is:
Speakers - (tv speakers)
Menu Volume - (Medium)
Audio Preferred Language
Digital Audio Format (Passthrough)
Any thoughts?
Thanks
1) You didnt mention your Roku TV model # and firmware version: Settings/System/About
1) Make sure your HDMI cable supports ARC/Ethernet
3) Turn everything off for 5-10 minutes unplugged from AC, then back on in the following order: AVR/Soundbar (fully on), then TV (fully on), then devices connected to TV/AVR/Soundbar
Thanks for the reply.
Sorry! I am dumb!
Firmware: 10.0.0 build 4209-30
TCL 65-in. 4K HDR Roku Smart TV with Dolby Vision 65R613CA
Here are the HDMI Cords - they say they are ARC compatible:

I feel like it’s something to do with software same thing happend to me I can’t get any sound out of soundbar (Polk control bar) unless I use an optical cord. I didn’t change cords or anything it just stopped working one day in the past week or so
If just really like to know where the spdif and arc settings went ? Is this change in menu options a symptom of something in particular ?

Its likely a firmware update modified the UI and changed/consolidated settings: "S/PDIF and ARC" may be renamed to "Audio Format".
Otherwise, if your Soundbar is both ARC and Optical capable, but you lost the ARC connection, make sure CEC is still enabled in both the TV and soundbar:
Settings/System/Control other devices/HDMI ARC=enabled.
Settings/System/Control other devices/1 Touch play=enabled.
