Roku won’t turn on, just a purple screen.

I’m having trouble turning on my Roku tv to get to the channels. It goes straight to a plain purple screen when i turn the tv on, no other options available on the screen. I’ve switched out the HDMI cords 2 times and it’s still a purple screen every time.
