Roku turning off after connecting to the internet

My Roku wouldn’t turn on so I reset it, now it turns on but when I get to the internet connection stage of the setup it switches off and then I have to reset again for it to turn on. Any ideas?

How are you powering it?  If you're using the TV's USB port try the supplied power adapter.  If you didn't get one or you're already doing that try one from a phone/tablet that can supply at least 1 Amp.
