Roku overheating message -- Had Streaming Stick+ for 13 Months

Hi. I have had a Streaming 4k Stick + for 14 months and it is now overheating. The message comes on the TV and the stick is very hot. I never had this issue before. I unplugged it, plugged it back in, and it still overheated in just 20 minutes.

It looks like the item is defective. How do I get a replacement?

Thank you.

@CatsGreat

Thanks for the post.

It's fairly normal for your device to get warm during use, but if you are seeing a message on screen mentioning overheating, there are a few things you can do to help.

For more information visit our Support page here: What should I do if the red light is on or I see a “Your device is overheating” warning?

I'd recommend ordering a free HDMI extender from our website and seeing if that resolves your issue.

Please keep us posted what you find out.

Thanks,
Danny
