Roku no signal

It was working fine until yesterday where the device lost signal. Took it to two different tvs with different HDMI cables, no dice. Checked the HDMI cables with my laptop, able to extend the background. There is no connectivity issues as my phone is able to link with it for youtube playback. 

Safe to assume the roku HDMI port is busted?

Does the power light on the Roku illuminate when plugged into house power?
